I had the most amazing final day. I can’t express how overwhelmed I am with all of the kind words, gifts, messages and people going out of their way to express how they felt about me. It is truly humbling. My long career at South Hetton Primary is due to the community I was welcomed into. There will always be a special place in my heart for all of the children, parents , extended families and the members of the community that have supported me on my journey. Thank you all so much x 💕

Mrs Thompson is one of the best teachers I've ever met ❤️ I'm today years old that I found her name is Dawn lol. The school and children have been so lucky and privileged to have her. She will be a huge miss. All the best for the future 🍾 xx
