We are all so proud of Sarah and her fantastic attitude to everything she does!Sarah Makes a Splash with Remarkable Progress !! 🏊

🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

Sarah, a pupil from South Hetton Primary School, began weekly school swimming sessions in September 2025.
At first, Sarah was very nervous, holding tightly to the side of the pool, relying on swimming aids, and keeping her feet firmly on the bottom!

In March, Miss. Hartwell brought Sarah to our SSP inclusion swimming gala.
Since attending that event her confidence has grown enormously!! Sarah started putting her face in the water, let go of the swimming aids, and put full effort into every weekly lesson.
Sarah has now mastered skills such as push-and-glide underwater, a controlled fall into the pool for water safety, and floating on both her front and back.

The most amazing achievement then followed, as Sarah achieved swimming 25m on her back, and front!
Sarah is pictured below with her swimming certificates and her smile says it all!!

We just LOVE a Good News Story here at HQ and to hear that the start of this wonderful journey of growth began at our Explore Swimming Gala is wonderful!
Well Done Sarah - we are VERY proud of you! 👏
