Welcome to the page for our Friends of South Hetton. This group of people work tirelessly during the year to support our school with a range of fantastic events including our Halloween disco, Christmas and summer fayre, valentine’s disco and our Easter coffee afternoon. All the money raised from these events goes back into our school to support our teaching and learning and provide all our children with an exciting and inspiring atmosphere in our school.

Benefits to the Children
On behalf of all the staff and children at school we would like to thank the Friends of South Hetton and the whole community for attending all our events throughout the year.
Monies raised from these events has been ploughed back into the school and is being used to benefit all our children including:
- Additions to the school playground
- Purchasing science resources
- Creation of a sensory room
- Purchasing books and internet tools for school use in lesson time.
